Canter has partnered with highly respected, regionally accredited institutions to provide self-paced graduate courses for teachers nationwide. Through Canter’s partnerships with leading accredited universities, Canter students can benefit from valuable professional development, while earning graduate credit that they may be able to use toward license and certificate renewals.*

As you review the partner universities below, please note that the state in which you live determines which university and courses are available to you. After you determine your partner institution, use the link provided to browse the more than 30 self-paced courses to find those that best fit your needs.

Walden University

Available States: United States (except AL, AR, KY); includes DC

Walden University’s Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership supports the needs of educators at all levels and at every stage of their careers, including new and veteran classroom teachers, faculty and administrators, and career-changers interested in teaching. The college is home to more than 37,000 students and alumni.

Walden’s Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership is currently a first-time candidate for accreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Learn more.

Prospective Washington state students are advised to contact the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction at 1-360-725-6275 or prof.educ@k12.wa.us to determine whether Walden’s programs in the field of education are approved for teacher certification or endorsements in Washington State. Additionally, teachers are advised to contact their individual school district as to whether this program may qualify for salary advancement.

Andrews University
