  • Technology and 21st Century Literacy Skills (Grades K–12) Though today’s students are immersed in technology, they do not always have the skills to use this tool in the most effective, efficient, and safest ways. This class helps you teach students “new literacies” to successfully navigate the abundance of unfiltered information. Learn how to facilitate inquiry-based projects and guide students in content creation to meet important learning goals.
  • Using Technology to Engage Diverse Learners (Grades K–12) Empower diverse learners through technology with the strategies that you will learn in this class. You will develop differentiated lesson plans that incorporate technology for diverse learners, revise existing assessment tools to better meet learners’ needs, and create a tool kit of online resources for implementing a “universal design for learning” model.
  • Using Technology to Enhance Content-Area Learning (Grades K–12) Technology is a powerful tool for helping you meet your content-area goals and standards. This class teaches you how to help students become self-directed learners and creative thinkers; use technology-infused strategies to engage them in rich learning experiences; and differentiate instruction and assessment to respond to diverse learning needs.
