Are you considering a master’s program and want to take some graduate-level teacher courses that may transfer* later? If so, the Canter Course Series† may be right for you. Canter offers a wide selection of teacher courses online, all of which are designed to provide the kind of training for educators that will enhance your skills and advance your career.
Each Canter Course Series below includes four courses focused on a theme. The teacher courses are listed in their recommended sequence in each series but you can take the courses in any order you choose, in either the print & DVD or online format. You must enroll and complete a series of teacher courses within 12 months.

Elementary Reading
The Elementary Reading series identifies how effective reading teachers meet the needs of students at any level and then delves into strategies that can help beginning, developing, and struggling readers to become successful readers.
